July 4th, 2023. Denville Fireworks Ride. Update! Fireworks are cancelled due to weather!

Update: The fireworks are cancelled. If the weather holds up, I may the short ride up to the Becan Light.

Hey Wolves! Let do a short ride around town before the fireworks begin. Meet at the clock tower at 7:30. It will be a short ride up to the Beacan Light Monument. I’ve never been there and don’t even know how to get there. We’ll have fun trying. Bring some refreshments. We’ll get back to Denville just in time for the fireworks. This will be a short ride and a great warm up for the Berkley Heights fireworks ride. TBA soon.

Recap: I decided to ride. Lifetime member Bill joined me. We decided to look for the Beacon Light. It was hot and humid and a nice battle against gravity. We won. Beers to celebrate. The monument was a neat place. We looped back to Denville and saw lots of private fireworks all along Indian Lake. A great way to celebrate the 4th on a bike. Here are some pics.

  1. Denville Fireworks were post poned but after checking out the Beacon on Beacon Hill we saw everybodies personal fireworks show of the people who lived on Indian Lake instead. it was pretty cool.
