Setting up a last minute ride because it’s too beautiful to not ride.
Troy Meadows is am amazing spot to see fire flies. Planning about 16 miles starting at Kohl’s, followed by a quiet cruise around Parsippany, fireflies at Troy Meadow, a stop for refreshments, and a bunch of short cuts in Cedar Knolls.
Meet me in front of Kohl’s by 7:15pm on Saturday August 2nd with kickstands up at 7:20pm.
Ride Recap: Passed some strange corporate parks, new short cuts, found an abandoned house hiding in plain sight, and explored rural Parsippany. While I did not say for the fireflies (rode too fast and arrived 30 minutes earlier than expected), I will gladly do this ride again to see them. Met up at Autodidactic for a few refreshing post-ride refreshments.
