Pack up your panniers, batten down your baskets, stuff your bikepacking™bags. Its time to look forward to camping at – Stephens State Park in Hackettstown. Meet at Denville clocktower, ready to roll at noon on a great 30 mile mixed terrain ride. A lot of gravel gliding on well maintained paths through Randolph, a REALLY nice chunk of West Morris Greenway rail trail, a quick stop at Quick Check then a nice bomb down valley, some steep scenic climbing up to Jersey Girl Brewing a couple miles from camp. Slow & steady, no drop ride. This event is free but bring a few dollars to help pay for the campsites. Excellent options for food in Hackettstown. No registrations, no insurance, no services are provided, self supported…just a group of friends! Parking a car overnight is tough near downtown Denville… Plan on riding to the start.
