Ride Recap: Five of us braved the cold winds for another fun Holiday Light Ride. We also welcomed Chris, who is very passionate about Denville and also on the town council. The ride up to Fleetwood Drive warmed us up quickly. Then Brian led us through the backroads of his hometown and got us to the Debbie Place display. After the nice downhill into Dover, Brian led us through the J.F.R. Playground which had a nice display. We took a break by Hedden Park for some snacks and beverages. It gets cool when your not riding but the climb on Hurd warmed us up again and brought us to Indian Falls Rd. display. The owners talked to us a bit and offered us drinks. Very nice people. The display on Bedmister rd. was not too shabby and a few pedal strokes was Viking court. IMO, it’s the best display around. The owner remembered us and told us of another display on the way home on Hawser. After that it was all downhill (mostly) back to Denville where we hit Thatcher McGhees for a drink. There is a 10:00pm curfew due to Covid and the kitchen was closed, so we just settled for a couple of beers before calling it a night. Great ride. Here are some pics.
