August 21, 2013 Werewolf Ride

Lets meet Wednesday at 8:30pm in Rockaway at the town clock at West Main & Maple for a nice loop with a dozen fun miles through Wharton & Dover.  Many refreshment options when we’re back in Rockaway.  Hope to see ya!

Update:  The 3 iron towns route has become a really nice classic ride for the werewolves.  The traffic is really quiet.  It has a nice big climb & decent, a smooth rail trail under rt. 80 & rt. 15, the Morris Canal towpath and a rough unimproved rail trail.   This month was a pretty speedy fun ride.  I think its really fun to cruise along slightly downhill while taking the lane on Blackwell Street in downtown Dover.  We even formed a tiny peloton on our way back into Rockaway.  When I got home I was surprised to see a bloody thorn sticking out of my forehead, must have been from the Morris Canal shortcut I took home!
