Ok, The next Full Moon Adventure Ride will be Tuesday, December 21st. Meet up at the Fountain on the Morristown Green at 8pm. I hope you can make it. The ride will head for The Great Swamp! Lots of cool multi-use paths on the way out & back. 12-15 miles at a social pace, no drops, not alot of hills. This full moon marks Winter Solstice, the start of of Winter. Bundle up, light up and lets ride!
Update: “What a wonderful night for a ride!” we said, into the teeth of old man winter on the longest night of the year. Santa himself waved us off and out we went, first along busy roads, then along a well paved path meandering along some creeks through the woods. We rode near the perimeter of The Great Swamp, admired some nice holiday decorations and had a nice cruise. Back to Mo’town along a very quiet back road past many ritzy old homes. Thanks to Peter for showing us his old stomping grounds, we must revisit the area! Here is the route. Temps were very chilly so some silghtly numb fingers & toes are an almost inevitable annoyance but the 6 of us were not too bothered. I hope everyone thawed quickly. Thanks for riding!

I’m trying to keep the rides suitable for most any kind of bike… The Great Swamp ride I think will be all pavement but the route is’nt finalized yet so dont quote me on that!

Change in plans this week, I’m scheduled to take the kids to see santa tomorrow after school. I doubt I’ll be back in time to hit this ride. I’m game for the next one though.

Surprisingly my toes held up quite well, and I only wore one pair of socks covered by seal skinz and sandals. http://www.sealskinz.com/ Then again, you guys were hanging out an hour longer at the garden. As always, I look forward to the next adventure. Thanks for the ride:)
