October 22, 2010 Werewolf Ride

Meet up for this ride will be at the Morristown Green fountain at 7pm.  We will ride up a pretty big hill, down the other side, across some back roads, onto some smooth trails and back to the Green.

This ride is the night before the full moon but the moon should be full enough for some fun.

Update:  the 1st Werewolf ride was a nice time.  The moon rose as a few of us rode through the chilly early evening.  We gently spun up the big hill, chatting the whole way.  Thoughts of work, traffic & the hassles of everday life vanished and the quiet night relaxed me completely.  On the back roads, giant old trees silhouetted in front of the moon, some rustling in the bushes here and there and some raccoon voices kept things spooky.  At the end of the ride we turned left and headed to the bar for dinner, drinks & bike gossip.
