August 9th, 2025. Super Wolf! With a stop at Hawkwatch.

Meet up at Denville Town Clock on Saturday, 8-09-2025 at 6:00pm for the Split Rock Super Wolf Classic Ride. Should be a banging good time. Bring snacks and beverages. Tough ride but we’ll take it easy. I have not been riding much and will be slow. We will start this ride with w pint at Diamond Spring Brewery. Will most likely hit whatever is open (probable Thatchers) after ride. Awhoooooo!

Ride Recap: It was such a beautiful night for a ride accompanied by cool temps and cooler friends. Maybe the cold beer start at Diamond Spring had something to do with that. Bill tried to lead us a different route but it was overgrown so we continued our traditional route. Up at Hawk Watch, the views did not disappoint. The Sturgeon Moon rose a very red color and almost didn’t look real. We met a father and son up there and shared a few stories. Some crazy kids were lighting off fireworks in the distance so we left. Lake Denmark road is always a nice return. We said it was going to be a slow ride but I felt we were riding at a nice pace. Like Brian said, it feels like were going downhill even on the uphills.
