What is a super moon, you ask? When a full or new moon falls during the closest point in the moon’s orbit to Earth, according to NASA. The full moon can appear up to 14% bigger and 30% brighter at its closest point in the orbit. Pretty cool.
And a beaver moon because they start to take shelter in their lodges for the winter. Lucky for us it’ll still be in the high 40s—balmy for mid November.
Minimal hills, a handful of interesting stops, mix of road and Patriots Path, and about 20 miles.
Meet at the Morristown Green water fountain at 7pm with kick stands up shortly after.

It was a brilliant full moon with no lights needed to see in the woods. Loads of exploration of new areas, revisiting familiar favorites, and a bunch of reminiscing. Even had a surprise run in with Larry.
