April 20th, 2019 Last Minute Werewolf Ride.

Sorry for the late notice.  I was away the last few days and wasn’t sure I’d make it back in time for a ride this 4-20 weekend.  We’ll I’m back and really want to ride.  Meet me at the Denville clock tower for a 7:00 pm adventure.  I’m thinking of taking a spin to Hawk watch.  If it’s too cloudy, maybe we’ll hit Poor Henry’s instead.   We’ll vote on it at the start.

Birdman.

Ride Recap:  So 4 of us showed up and decided on the Hawk Watch option.  We visited a lifetime member who lives right in town for a quick hello.  Bill suggested a jerky break that included views of the Spitrock reservoir.   At Hawk watch, it was cloudy up above us but we still had the glorious views extending to NYC.  I love this spot and would have loved to just roll out a sleeping bag and spend the night.  On the way back, Bill and Jared took the railroad bed while Dan and I opted for the longer paved road.  We met at Lake Denmark rd.  Riding Lake Denmark, it seemed like an eternity (in a good way)  Quiet back roads without a single car passing us.  Getting back to Denville guess who we see?  Lifetime member Higgins again.  It was a great night.  Looking forward to camping next week.  It will be epic.  Awhooooo!
