March 16th, 2014 Bear-Wolf Ride.

Hey Wolves!  I don’t know about you, but I’ve been feeling more like a hibernating bear than a wolf this Winter.  Let’s meet up at the Denville clock tower for a 7pm departure.  How does taking a ride up to Boonton sound?  If we’re feeling up to it, we can take an optional hill climb up to the Sheep Hill Observatory.

After the climb, we’ll enjoy the downhill ride to Boonton ave and take a break at Poor Henry’s pub for a well deserved cold beverage.  They have a nice selection of craft beers on tap.

We’ll head back to Denville via pretty Mountain Lakes.    Ride route will be aprox 14 miles.

  1. hey hey…got a gig in stanhope so i can’t join y’all…but just fyi sundays are also craft bottle share night at poor henry’s…so if you want, stash a bottle of delish beer somewhere on your bike ride to join in the fun!

      1. You were missed! Would you believe it got warmer after you left? Well, there was that monster of a climb up to the observatory which might have something to do with that. Poor Henry’s was fun. We stayed a bit longer than I was expecting. That means more beer and an even warmer ride home. New bike sound exciting! Keep us posted.
